Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and execution of product stewardship programs to ensure safe handling, storage, distribution, and disposal of crop protection products.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Regulatory, and Sustainability, to integrate product safety and environmental stewardship into business strategies.
- Represent BASF in external forums such as CropLife Asia, advocating for sustainable pesticide management practices.
- Monitor emerging trends in farming practices, sustainability, and environmental policies to enhance stewardship programs.
- Develop and implement training programs for employees and stakeholders on pesticide application techniques, PPE usage, and emergency response procedures.
- Support incident reporting processes, analyze data and identify improvement opportunities in APAC countries.
- Coordinate with Regional Communications and Legal teams in case of emergency responses related to product safety.
Who Should Apply?
- Candidates with a degree in natural sciences (biology, chemistry, agronomy, pharmaceutical, biotechnology).
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in product stewardship, regulatory affairs, or strategic advocacy roles.
- Strong communication skills and proficiency in English (additional language skills are a plus).
- Knowledge of stewardship practices, product safety, and sustainability in the agricultural industry.
- Ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders and align on strategic priorities.
