About the Role
Job Purpose
We seek a Scientific Specialist to develop and deliver high-quality scientific content across various medical communication formats. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of scientific writing, research methodologies, and fact-checking processes to ensure content accuracy and adherence to project timelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Scientific Content Development: Research, write, edit, and fact-check scientific materials to meet project scope, client objectives, and deadlines.
- Therapy Area Expertise: Develop and maintain an in-depth understanding of relevant medical and scientific fields, client products, and key therapeutic areas.
- Project Ownership & Execution: Manage assigned projects independently, resolve technical challenges, and ensure timely, high-quality deliverables with minimal supervision.
- Client & Stakeholder Communication: Collaborate effectively with clients, external authors, and opinion leaders throughout project lifecycles.
- Compliance & Quality Assurance: Adhere to internal procedures, industry regulations, and quality standards while identifying areas for process improvement.
Knowledge and Experience:
- 5-8 years prior experience preferred in a similar role, preferably within a medical communications agency environment
Education:
- Degree and a higher degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or Medicine (BSc, BA, PharmD, PhD, MD)
