Job Purpose (1-2 Lines):
The candidate will be a part of translational medicine and perform routine mass analysis of mAbs and antigens using mass spectrometry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform IHC experiments to support research and development projects/clinical sample testing.
- Perform robust monoplex IHC automated assays independently. Support team on multiplex assays.
- Support clinical sample analysis and data compilation.
- Perform RNA ISH and cell culture activities as an adjunct to IHC techniques.
- Handle routine histopathological techniques.
- Work seamlessly with digital slide scanners and related digital pathology software platforms.
- Actively participate in SOP preparation and periodic review. Document and maintain appropriate records.
- Support the team with instrument routine maintenance, QC, inventory management, and other operational activities in the lab.
- Perform other lab duties as instructed.
- Block repository management.
Educational Qualification:
- M.Sc in Biology/Biotechnology/Biochemistry or equivalent degree in Life Sciences with industrial/research experience.
Technical/Functional Skills:
- Experienced in the design and development of monoplex IHC assays.
- Experience in working on diverse IHC autostainer instruments and troubleshooting.
- Experience with routine histopathological techniques is required.
- Experience in handling digital scanners and using digital pathology software platforms.
- Having worked with preclinical and clinical samples will be a plus.
- Experience working in a regulated laboratory setting (CAP/NABL or other GxP environment) is good to have.
Experience:
- Master’s/Equivalent degree in Life Sciences with 0-2 years of relevant experience in histopathology and IHC assays in industry/academic research.
Behavioral Skills:

- Aptitude to learn quickly and collaborate with others effortlessly.
- Ensure completion of experiments and generate accurate and reproducible data from experiments.
- Prioritize tasks and work on multiple projects simultaneously, comfortable working in a dynamic environment with changing requirements.
- Good oral and written communication and presentation skills to work in a multi-disciplinary team.
