About Team:
The Data Management
department provides a range of Data Processing services for clients, including Database Build, Data Entry, and Data Review activities spanning across Study Set-up, Conduct, and Close-out phases. The team works closely with Programming, Coding, Safety, Lab, and Biostatistics departments. It offers a unique opportunity to work with multiple sponsors on various study platforms across key therapeutic areas like Oncology, Device Studies, Immunology, Cardiovascular, etc.Apprenticeship Summary:
The Apprentice participates in and executes entry-level department functions (Designation of Apprentice) in accordance with Fortrea and/or sponsor Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Essential Job Duties:
- Follow applicable departmental Standard Operating Procedures and Work Instructions.
- Complete required trainings according to timelines.
- Within specified timelines, review and action queries on an ongoing basis and, upon meeting quality expectations, update the database appropriately, as assigned.
- Work as per assigned Data Management-related operational data flows.
- Review reports and take actions as defined in the DMP or eCRF review manual, as assigned.
- Perform ongoing and final consistency checks, data listings review as defined in the DMP and eCRF Review Manual, as assigned.
- Ensure that all Data Management activities are conducted in compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and Good Clinical Practices.
Education/Qualifications/Skills:
Education:
- University/college degree (Life Sciences, Health Sciences, Information Technology, or related subjects) or a certification in allied health professions from an appropriate accredited institution.
Skills:
- Demonstrated computer literacy
- Basic understanding of medical terminology and overall knowledge of Clinical Research
- Understanding of ICH-GCP principles
- Customer Focus
- Attention to Detail
