Seed Genetics Analyst I
Location: Telangana, India
Job Purpose:
This position will serve as a team member in the high throughput Seed Quality Testing Laboratory, supporting the Product Supply Organization and collaborating with key customers/colleagues across various functions. The role involves striving to achieve quality strategies and incorporating VACC behaviors into daily testing activities.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Planning and execution of Genetic purity tests utilizing global/regional platform-defined protocols
- Resource planning and management, including lab chemicals, supplies, and instrument maintenance
- Coordinating with production, technology, crop quality, and Inventory management teams for sample estimation and schedule
- Supporting new QC tests and validation as per Global Genetic quality Assurance
- Participating in Continual Improvement projects and implementing best practices
- Maintaining QMS, EMS, ETS, NABL, and Laboratory management systems
- Driving operational excellence and cost reduction in testing
- Ensuring timely recording of data in LIMS and execution of results as per SLA
- Collaborating with platform functions and promoting a quality culture in lab operations
Key Working Relations:
Internal: Pre-foundation, Foundation, Production, Operations, Warehouses, and Quality Assurance
External: Vendors, Finance, HSC, QMS, Site services
Who You Are:
Master’s in biotechnology or molecular biology or related field with 2+ years’ experience in a QA lab. Demonstrated skills in self-organization, planning, reporting, and communication alongside proficiency in MS Office, LIMS, lab data analysis, SAP. Ability to work efficiently under time pressure, with a sense of urgency and accuracy.
