Position Details:

- Number of Posts: One (01)
- Duration: Up to June 2027
- Salary: ₹31,000/- + HRA
Essential Qualifications:
Post Graduate Degree in Botany/ Plant Genetics Resources/ Life Sciences/ Genetics and Plant Breeding / Seed Science and Technology/ Horticulture
Candidates selected through a process described through any one of the following:
a. Qualified National Eligibility Test- CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) and GATE.
b. The Selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MoE, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER, NISER etc.
Desirable Qualifications for the JRF position at ICAR-NBPGR
Candidates with experience in community seed systems, plant germplasm exploration, and farmer-centric research in Northeast India will be preferred.
Age Limit:
- Maximum Age: 35 years as of the date of advertisement
- Age Relaxation:
- SC/ST/Female candidates: 5 years
- Differently Abled candidates: 10 years
- OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates: 3 years
