Govt KITS Consultant Jobs – PhD Biotech & Life Sciences Apply
KARNATAKA INNOVATION & TECHNOLOGY SOCIETY (KITS) is the implementation arm of the Department of Electronics, IT, and Biotechnology. KITS intends to hire resources on a contract basis, and the details are given below:
Post: Senior Consultant (Biotechnology)
No. of Posts: 01
Remuneration: ₹70,000/- to ₹80,000/- per month (Negotiable)
Eligibility:
- Age: Maximum 45 years (as of the advertisement date)
- Qualification: Ph.D. in Biotech/Life Sciences
- Experience: Minimum 8 years in the Biotechnology/Life Sciences industry, with 2 years in consulting, government projects, or managing incubation centers (preferred)
- Key Skills: Expertise in State, National, and International Biotechnology Sectors
Job Role:
- Promote and advance the Biotech Sector in Karnataka
- Plan and implement Biotech Parks, Incubation Centers, and Start-up activities
Selection Process:
- Screening by the Selection Committee followed by interviews for shortlisted candidates
- The decision of the Selection Committee will be final and binding
Tenure: Full-time contract basis for 2 years (extendable up to 3 years based on performance)
