Location: Bangalore, India (Office-based)
About the Role
Under minimum supervision, the CDC II will perform basic data management activities to ensure accurate, complete, and consistent clinical databases in accordance with GCPs, SOPs, ICH Guidelines, and applicable laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
• Uphold ICON’s values, focusing on People, Clients, and Performance.
- Support process improvement by streamlining workflows and enhancing efficiency.
- No travel is required (0% domestic/international).
- Adhere to ICON SOPs, GCP, ICH Guidelines, and all applicable regulations.
- Complete all mandatory training in the ICON Training Management System (iLearn) before deadlines.
- Accurately record billable and non-billable hours in Planview™.
- Review CRF/eCRF data for accuracy, completeness, and consistency using manual and automated checks.
- Perform external data and Serious Adverse Event (SAE) reconciliation.
- Generate, resolve, and close data queries efficiently.
- Freeze and lock eCRFs in the Electronic Data Capture System.
- Maintain study files and essential study documentation.
- Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and collaborate with CDMS teams for issue resolution.
- Support study timelines through tasks like filing, document archiving, and query dispatching.
- Communicate effectively with the project team, Study Lead, Project Lead, and Project Manager.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Level Degree
- Experience in Clinical Trials Data Management
- Ability to act as a mentor to junior staff
