We are currently seeking a Development Scientist I, who will be responsible for conducting research and development activities in Flow Cytometry for developing flow cytometry products. The role will contribute to the product launch of immunophenotyping panels, including feasibility studies, development of protocols, and analytical methods for testing multicolor panels for Leukemia & Lymphoma.
This role requires basic to moderate experience in flow cytometry fundamentals, data analysis, and hands-on experience with single-color & multicolor flow cytometry assays. Strong problem-solving skills, familiarity with analytical techniques, and technology transfer knowledge are essential to deliver consistent and cost-effective production processes in GMP manufacturing. The incumbent will participate in planning studies for the development, evolution, and optimization of product design, maintain well-organized laboratory notebooks in compliance with relevant procedures, and support post-launch activities to resolve performance and quality issues. This is an individual contributor role.
The incumbent will be based in Bangalore
and this will be an on-site working job.In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Boundary Conditions/Authority Levels: Receives instructions on routine work.
- Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Participates in routine data analysis, collection, design, and development of system applications.
- Manages and informs project-related inventory requirements to the project planner in time.
- Reports the status of experiments to the supervisor/technical lead.
- Applies analytical skills to interpret data and uses independent judgment and discretion in developing solutions for work problems of moderate scope and complexity.
- Troubleshoots issues, identifies root causes, and strives toward solutions for identified problems.
- Responsible for creating technical presentations and updating relevant functions.
- Supports the preparation of high-quality technical documents and reports.
- Ensures strict adherence to quality standards and regulatory guidelines.
- Ensures compliance with Federal, State, local, and company regulations, policies, and procedures for Health, Safety, and Environmental compliance.
- Performs other related duties as required.
The required qualifications for the job include:
- Experience in Immunology, Biology, or a related life sciences field with industrial or clinical experience in Flow Cytometry, Immunophenotyping, or other assay development techniques.
- Hands-on experience in Flow Cytometry sample preparation & processing, acquisition, data analysis, data interpretation, and assay optimization would be an added advantage.
- Degree in Immunology, Cell Biology, Life Sciences, or a related discipline (Bachelor’s or Master’s) with 3 to 5 years of experience in the relevant field.
