Project: Characterization of evolving HIV-1 diversity associated with resistance to antiretroviral drugs (ARVs) and broadly neutralizing antibodies (bnAbs)

5Essential Qualification: Ph.D. in any branch of Life Sciences from a recognized University.
Note: Candidates who have submitted doctoral thesis are eligible to apply.
Desirable:
- Working experience in BSL-II laboratory, data analysis, and interpretation.
- Experience in virology, molecular biological techniques like amplification, cloning, deep/high-throughput sequencing, sequence analysis, bioinformatics analysis, mammalian cell culture, and high-throughput neutralization assay are essential.
Emoluments: Rs. 58,000/- + HRA. Those candidates who have submitted Ph.D. thesis will get fellowship as stipulated for Senior Research Fellow in accordance with DST OM dated 26.06.2023.
Post II
Project: Developing broadly neutralizing monoclonal antibody-mediated prevention and treatment strategy by assessing their effectiveness in neutralizing HIV‐1 subtype C circulating in India across different regions and distinct risk groups

Essential Qualification: Master’s degree in any branch of Life Sciences from a recognized University with two (2) years of post-qualification research experience.
Desirable:
- Basic knowledge of flow cytometry and working experience in BSL-II laboratory.
- Protein production, purification, and preliminary characterization.
- Experience in virology, molecular biological techniques, cell culture, high-throughput neutralization assay, transfection, pseudovirus preparation, handling infectious samples, and PBMC isolation.
Emoluments: Rs. 35,000/-
Project: Deciphering the role of trans-encoded sRNA-mediated gene regulation in stress adaptation and pathogenesis of M. tuberculosis

Essential Qualification: Ph.D. in any branch of Life Sciences from a recognized University.
Note: Candidates who have submitted doctoral thesis are eligible to apply.
Desirable:
- Expertise in work using animal models, preparation, and characterization of bacterial strains, molecular biology, and immunological techniques.
- Working knowledge of disease pathogenesis, bacterial genetics, immune and drug efficacy studies in mice, and host-directed therapies.
- First-author publication in a peer-reviewed journal.
- Experience in BSL-3 will be preferred.
Emoluments: Rs. 58,000/- + HRA.Those candidates who have submitted Ph.D. thesis will get fellowship stipulated for Senior Research Fellow as per DST OM dated 26.06.2023 i.e. Rs. 42,000/- plus HRA.
