Department of Endocrinology, Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education & Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh, India

Applications are invited for the following temporary posts in an ICMR-funded project entitled, “Beta cell specific hybrid exosomes expressing immune checkpoint ligands: A novel cell-free, targeted approach for prevention of beta cell damage in type-1 diabetes” under Dr. Naresh Sachdeva, Professor, Department of Endocrinology, PGIMER, Chandigarh.

1. Project Research Scientist-I (Non-Medical) – One post

Essential Qualification: First Class Master’s degree in Biotechnology, Microbiology, Immunology, Biochemistry / Second Class Master’s degree in Biotechnology, Microbiology, Immunology, Biochemistry with PhD.

Preference: Candidates who have qualified for National Research Fellowship examinations (CSIR-UGC NET / ICMR-JRF / DBT / DST-INSPIRE / GATE, etc.).

Desirable: Experience in Immunology, Molecular Biology, or Cell Biology, Publications in indexed journals.

Emoluments per month: Rs. 56,000 + 20% HRA

Upper Age limit: 35 years on the date of interview
