QUALIFICATION: Minimum Degree in Science/ B.Tech. in FT

EXPERIENCE: Minimum 2 years in Quality Control Lab

AGE: 23-28 Years

COMPETENCIES

A) Functional Competencies:

1. He should have sound knowledge of lab equipment like Agtron, Fry Master, Moisture Analyzer, Balance, and the function of hot air oven.
2. He should have knowledge of basic testing procedures like product fry color, solid content, length, defect, etc.
3. He should have awareness regarding GMP practices.
4. Must be adept in the use of MS Office 2000 or later, particularly Excel and Word, and ideally Access or similar database to a basic level, Internet, and email.

JOB DESCRIPTION

JOB OBJECTIVE: To supervise and control the end quality of finished products. Ensure that a high-quality service standard is rendered to both consumers and the factory. Analyze materials to ensure high-quality finished products.

1. QUALITY CHECKS
   • Ensure daily quality checks for lines.
   • Check that all finished products produced comply with the company’s specifications.
   • Take the necessary samples as laid out per the QC procedure.
   • Grade all finished products as laid out by the QC sampling procedure, and record information on all relevant physical and electronic documentation.
   • Perform adequate testing procedures on individual finished products.
   • Perform 4-hour sensory evaluation for specified finished products.
   • Ensure metal detector working efficiency.
   • Ensure packing quality checks like sealing and barcode.
   • Ensure packing material weight.
   • Check finished product temperature, length, fry color, sugar end, defect, solid.
   • Enter daily sensory scores in electronic documentation.
2. ACCEPT / HOLD / REJECTION
   • Ensure that the finished products have been tested appropriately to meet the required finished product specifications.
   • Communicate any changes in quality with the QC and Production Executive.
   • Pass requisition for the accepted finished goods.
   • Make hold notes and downgrade the product in case of unsatisfactory finished product specifications.
   • Make rejection notes for beyond satisfactory limits of finished product specifications.
   • Communicate with the production manager, plant manager, and store manager in case of any rejection or hold made.
3. NEATNESS OF WORKPLACE
   • Ensure that the walls, walkways, and floors are clean at all times during production.
   • Ensure that the equipment in this section is clean at all times.
   • All waste is disposed of in the correct containers and removed/emptied into the appropriate waste areas.
   • Ensure cleanliness of the finished lab.
4. MAINTENANCE & GENERAL DUTIES
   • Report any defects in equipment performance to the Supervisor.
   • Carry out simple adjustments to keep equipment running at optimal efficiency.
   • Replace consumable parts as required and any other duties deemed reasonable.
   • Perform any other reasonable work-related tasks as instructed by the QC Manager or Production Executive.
5. SAFETY
   • Ensure all equipment/motor covers are fitted securely.
   • No loose wires or electrical panels are open to the environment (Only engineers have access to electrical panels).
   • All floors are kept dry to minimize slips.
   • All staff in the processing area is wearing Personnel Protective Equipment (PPE).
6. OTHER DUTIES
   • Implement and monitor 5S in the finished lab.
   • Calibrate instruments in-house.
   • Add new procedures, work instructions, and formats to QA procedures.
   • Conduct outsourced calibration for all QA instruments.
   • Feed data in Infinity.
