Advt. No. 33/2024 – Walk in Interview
Applications are invited from suitable candidates for filling up the following position at National Institute of Animal Biotechnology (NIAB), Hyderabad.
Project Title: “Deciphering Chromatin-mediated mechanisms of transcription regulation in Apicomplexan Parasite Theileria annulata”
PI: Dr. Paresh Sharma.
Post Code: Project Associate – II (1 Position)
Tenable up to: 06 Months.
Essential Qualification:
Post Graduate Degree in life sciences OR Post Graduate Degree in professional course. M.V.Sc./M.Tech./M.Sc. Degree in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Immunology.
Experience:
Candidate should have minimum two-year research experience, preferably as JRF (eligibility criteria as per DST OM No.SR/S9/Z-05/2019 dated 10.07.2020). Candidates with prior experience in molecular biology, gene cloning, protein purification, gene editing, microscopy, flow cytometry analysis, and cell culture techniques will be preferred.
Fellowship Amount:
Rs. 35,000/- + HRA (if applicable) with NET or Post Graduate Degree in professional course as per the
DST guidelines. However, Non-NET candidates can also apply, who will be paid Rs. 28,000/- + HRA (if applicable) as per the DST guidelines.Age: 35 years.

The online walk-in interview is scheduled on 10th January 2025 from 10:00 am onwards. Suitable candidates will be screened, intimated through email, and interviewed by the duly constituted selection committee online.
Original documents in support of date of birth, educational qualifications, and experience certificates must be submitted at the time of joining. No need to send a hard copy. Interim enquiries will not be entertained.
