Name of the Project: ‘Study of infection dynamics of Leishmania donovani in the presence of LepscyNLV1 virus – Role of the virus in patho-biogenesis of Kala-azar and its remediation.'(GAP-447).
Sponsor of the Project: ICMR
Project Tenure: 10 Months (Extendable up to 02 years).
Qualification required: First class M.Sc in Zoology/Botany/Microbiology/Biochemistry/Life Science/M.Tech in Bio-technology/MVSc/M.Pharm OR Second class Masters degree as mentioned above with PhD.
Desirable: PhD (Specialization in Microbiology/Biotechnology/Biochemistry). Experience in cell culture; molecular biology techniques like DNA/RNA extraction & qPCR; working in mouse models; work experience in Leishmaniasis will be an added advantage.
Age Limit: 35 Years.
Stipend: Rs. 56,000/- PM + 27% HRA (5% increment on initial emoluments after completing for every 2 years, subject to performance review).
Terms & Conditions: The engagement is purely temporary & co-terminus with the project and, therefore, does not confer any right/claim implicit or explicit for regularization or absorption against any IICB/CSIR post. The age and qualifications will be reckoned

- Final Mark Sheet of B.Sc/M.Sc/M.Tech/M.Pharm Examination/Ph.D Certificate
- Documentary proof of NET/NET(LS)/GATE/Equivalent
- One Passport size photograph
- Caste certificate (wherever applicable)
