Bioinformatics Analyst

We operate the largest CAP accredited Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) lab in Southeast Asia, housing cutting-edge genome sequencing platforms. MedGenome is the founding member of GenomeAsia 100K, an initiative to sequence 100,000 Genomes in Asia.
We have an exciting opportunity for the position of Bioinformatics Analyst in the Bengaluru location. It is a full-time and work-from-office opportunity.
Skills and Experience Required:
- 2+ years of experience working in computational biology
- Solid hands-on experience in NGS data analysis
- Experience in microarray data analysis
- Excellent programming proficiency in languages for data analysis and tool development in either Perl or Python. Must be good in R scripting.
- Excellent working knowledge in Linux bash and databases such as MySQL (or similar)
- Experience in PLINK or similar tools for GWAS will be a big plus
- Experience in statistical analysis
- Sound analytical knowledge and rational thinking
- Passion for problem solving and availability
- Publications and/or other recognitions
Educational Qualification: Masters or
