Educational Qualification:

• Food Technologist / MSc Food Science / MSc Chemistry / Bio-Tech / MBA
• Certified Lead Auditor FSSC 22000 (Only for FSO)
• Green Belt Six Sigma Certification, PCQI (Only for FSO)

Experience:

• 5 – 7+ years in the FMCG industry, specifically in Biscuit, Cake, Bakery, or Food Manufacturing.
• Prior experience handling consumer complaints or dealing with consumers directly.

Desired Competencies:

• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Experience with CRM tools preferred.
• Proficiency in Excel and working with spreadsheets is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze quality trends, identify potential quality failures, and ensure preventive actions.
• Provide support to the quality team for vendor quality audits as required.
• Ensure compliance with testing frequencies and sample sizes outlined in the quality manual.
  • Verify test results are within specification limits.
  • Flag exceptions/violations to the quality manager for appropriate action.
• Implement quality walls, defective quality inspections, and corrective actions.
  • Verify implementation of agreed corrective actions.
• Participate in central quality audits.
  • Respond to audit observations, agree on findings, and ensure implementation of corrective actions.
• Review quality and FBC complaints.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement agreed actions.
• Maintain hygiene standards in the plant.
  • Take appropriate action or escalate whenever non-compliance is observed.
