VACANCY CIRCULAR
Directorate of Plant Protection, Quarantine & Storage, Faridabad (an attached office of the Ministry of Agriculture & Farmer’s Welfare, Government of India) invites applications from eligible candidates on a short-term contract basis for a period of 1 year, for the following positions:

Place of Work: The place of work shall be at Central Insecticides Board & Registration Committee (CIB&RC Building), Directorate of Plant Protection, Quarantine & Storage, NH-IV, Faridabad (Haryana)-121001.

Interview Process
- Shortlisted candidates will be intimated through email.
- Candidates will be required to bring original documents at the time of the interview at the scheduled date, time, and venue, as decided by the Competent Authority.

Terms of Reference for Appointment as Senior Technical Officer/Technical Officer in Secretariat of CIB&RC, Directorate of Plant Protection Quarantine and Storage, Faridabad (an attached office under Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare)

Scope of Work/Job Responsibility:
- Evaluation of Toxicology Dossiers and preparation/submission of comments for consideration of CIB&RC.
- Providing technical inputs on toxicology and related fields to the Registration Committee (RC) and Central Insecticides Board (CIB) as required.
- Offering inputs related to pesticide residues, FSSAI, and Codex.
- Handling additional technical tasks assigned by the Secretary (CIB&RC).
Eligibility Criteria for Sr. Technical Officer (Toxicology): 03 Posts
- Master’s Degree in Toxicology or Pharmacology or Medical Technology or Bio-Chemistry or Microbiology or Biotechnology or Master’s Degree in Zoology with specialization in Animal Physiology from a recognized Institute or University, and
- Two years working experience in related field of Pharmacology or Toxicology.
Eligibility Criteria for Technical Officer (Toxicology): 01 Post
- Master’s Degree in Veterinary Science/Specialization in Pharmacology/Toxicology/Master’s Degree in Technology with specialization in Pharmacology/Toxicology/Master’s Degree in Biotechnology from a recognized University/Institution.
Desirable for Technical Officer (Toxicology):
- Two years working experience in related field of Pharmacology or Toxicology.
Age Limit:
- Sr. Technical Officer (Tox): Candidate should not be more than 45 years of age as on closing date of the application.
- Technical Officer (Tox): Candidate should not be more than 45 years of age as on closing date of the application.
Communication and Drafting Skill:
- Should have good communication and interpersonal skills with a strong flair for in-depth handling of work relating to the scheme.
Computer Literacy:
- Good Knowledge of Computer and should be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint Presentation (including typing), and internet surfing, etc.
Type of Appointment:
- The appointment will be of temporary nature, and the Department/Directorate can cancel at any time without providing any reason for it.
