What You Will Do
This position is responsible for:
- Delivering Microbiological services across various Kenvue Global R&D sites for product categories such as Self Care (OTC drugs), Skin Health, and Essential Health (e.g., Baby Care, Oral Care).
- Supporting new product development, changes to commercial products, and research-based activities within the Global operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Microbiological Determinations and Technical Assessments:
- Ensure qualifications on various microbiological technologies and instrumentation.
- Conduct stability testing for shelf-life assessments.
- Handle method suitability and technical documentation with team leader guidance.
- Participate in method transfer processes as needed.
- Engage in specific research projects.
- Support to Equipment Management Program:
- Manage assigned qualification and calibration of lab instrumentation.
- Act as instrument owner for basic lab equipment and technology.
- Technical Documentation:
- Collaborate on technical documents like stability reports, method transfer, and protocol documentation.
- Lab Process/Quality Systems Management:
- Support process owners and subject matter experts for critical lab processes.
- Oversee lab processes and escalate issues when required.
- Engagement on Regional/Global Initiatives:
- Collaborate with regional and Global teams on assigned projects.
What We Are Looking For
Required Qualifications:
- Education: MSc in Microbiology
- Skills: Advanced MS Office proficiency
- Experience: 4–8 years in R&D Microbiology development, Quality Control, or related healthcare/pharma/FMCG functions, preferably with GMP and Quality environment exposure
- Technical Expertise: Strong microbiology knowledge, techniques, stability study assessment, and instrumentation troubleshooting
- Compliance Knowledge: Familiarity with GMP, quality systems, SOPs, and technical requirements
- Digital Skills: Proficient in digital tools and software applications
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication, initiative, curiosity, and ability to innovate
