The Institute of Liver & Biliary Sciences (ILBS) is an autonomous super-specialty institute of excellence under the Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi. The vision of ILBS is to be a global leader by becoming a beacon of patient care, teaching, and research in the field of Liver and Biliary diseases and allied disciplines. The Deemed-to-be-University status was conferred to ILBS by the University Grants Commission (UGC) under section 3 of the UGC Act 1956.
The institute is inviting applications for the entrance examination for the Ph.D. course for the academic session starting from 1st January 2025, as per the details below:

08 | NET qualified candidates with JRF Fellowship (Category-1 as per NET). Applicants who have cleared a national-level examination like CSIR/UGC-NET JRF, DBT-JRF, or ICMR-JRF need to appear for a Direct Interview. |
The NET with JRF Fellowship qualified candidates are exempted from written examination and directly eligible to appear in Interview for Ph. D.
Duration of the Course:
Ph.D. – 3-5 years duration
