Research Fellow (Temporary) and Project Assistant (Temporary) Positions Available in the NTRF-Sponsored Projects
Applications are invited for the posts of Research Fellow (Two positions) and Project Assistant (one position) under the following National Tea Research Foundation (NTRF) sponsored projects:
- Project Title: AI Based Imaging Solution for Detection of Pest Attack in Tea Leaves using Aerial Imaging
Department: Entomology

Project Code No.: NTRF: 227/2024 - Project Title: Weed Diversity in Tea Plantations of Assam and West Bengal and Development of Bio-herbicides for an Enriched Integrated Weed Management (IWM) Package in Tea

The positions are to be posted at Tocklai Tea Research Institute, Tea Research Association, Jorhat-785008, Assam, as per the following details. The appointments will be purely on a temporary contractual basis, and the Institute will not provide any employment after completion of the project

General Instructions:
- The above posts are purely temporary and co-terminus with the project.
- Candidates should submit a soft copy of the duly filled-in application form to the email ID [email protected] on or before 30th October 2024.
- Candidates must mention the post and project code in the subject during the application process.
- Candidates interested in applying for more than one project must submit individual applications against each project.
- Only shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview. No TA/DA or other expenses will be provided for attending the interview.
- Shortlisted candidates must carry a set of photocopies of documents (testimonials of qualifications, mark sheets, experience, date of birth, etc.) along with originals for verification.
- All other terms and conditions of appointment will be governed by prevailing Institute rules, and the decision of the Chairman of the Selection Committee will be final and binding.
- Selected candidates need to join immediately or at very short notice.
- The Director, Tocklai Tea Research Institute, Jorhat, Assam reserves all rights of selection or rejection of a candidature, including cancellation of the interview without assigning any reason thereof.
