We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Protein Purification Scientist to lead the Protein Purification group in the Protein Tech – SARC Biology, a multidisciplinary team with capabilities in molecular cloning, expression, and purification of proteins, including antibodies, bispecifics, and microbially expressed proteins.
Position Details:
- Role: Team Leader – Protein Purification
- Department: Syngene Amgen R&D Center – Biology
- Work Location: Bangalore
Qualification & Experience:
- PhD with 1-3 years, or
- M.Sc with 12-15 years, or
- M.Tech with 9-12 years of relevant experience in Protein Purification.
Key Skills:
- Expertise in protein purification techniques such as affinity, ion exchange, HIC, SEC, CHT, reverse phase chromatography, and TFF.
- Proficiency in analytical biochemistry (e.g., SEC-HPLC, SEC-MALS/DLS, SDS PAGE, Western Blot, Protein quantification).
- Experience with the AKTA platform.
- Strong team management skills.
Note:
- Only candidates with industry experience are eligible; postdoc experience will not be considered.
- Candidates with a CRO/R&D background are preferred. Applicants from Biosimilar/Manufacturing/Production sectors are not suitable for this role.
- Freshers are not eligible.
