Essential Job Duties:

• Obtains raw data from operational staff and conducts timely data back entry of study-related data into the data acquisition database.
• Conducts timely and accurate quality control for study-related data.
• Learns to draft data tables from manually collected data and verifies data for accuracy.
• Recognizes deviations from normal or expected outcomes based on known reference standards and makes recommendations to the supervisor.
• Carries out decisions independently as pre-determined appropriate.
• Ensures the quality and timeliness of all personal work performed to meet required standards.
• Works under regular supervision.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
• Carries out any duties not specified but reasonably expected of a Data Associate I.

Education/Qualifications/Certifications and Licenses

• Master’s degree in Lifesciences/Biotechnology/Microbiology/Biochemistry or equivalent required.
• Experience may be substituted for educational requirements.

Minimum Required:

• Competent with MS Office.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Knowledge of GLP/GCP and regulatory requirements is advantageous.

• Foster high professional standards and encourage good staff relationships.
