Walk-in Interview for JRF Position
BRIC Institute of Life Sciences (ILS), Bhubaneswar, an autonomous institute of the Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India, invites applications from Indian Nationals for the appointment of the following position:
Name of position: Junior Research Fellow (01 position)
Project: “Exploring the potential role of Never in mitosis gene A (NIMA)-related kinase 9 in rewiring docetaxel resistance in oral squamous cell carcinomas” (Funded by ANRF)
PI: Dr. Rupesh Dash
Fellowship: Rs. 31,000/- + HRA @16%
Eligibility & Selection:
- Candidates having M.Sc. or an equivalent qualification in Biotechnology, Bioinformatics, or allied Life Science subjects with a minimum of 60% marks or an equivalent grade point (50% for OBC/ST/SC) are eligible to apply.
- Candidates must have qualified for a national-level exam such as NET/GATE/GPAT/BET.
- Candidates with knowledge and experience in cell and molecular biology techniques will be preferred.
Age Limit: The candidate should be below 28 years of age, as of 24.10.2024. An age
relaxation of five years will be given for SC/ST/women/PH candidates, and three years for OBC candidates (as per Govt. of India rules).How to Apply:
Interested/eligible candidates may download the application form from the website www.ils.res.in and attend the interview with the complete application form, along with attested copies of mark sheets and certificates, age proof, caste certificate (if any), and experience certificate.
- Incomplete applications and applications without the above-mentioned documents will be rejected.
- The appointment will be for one year or until the end of the project.
- No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
- The decision of the Director regarding the selection of candidates will be final, and no further correspondence will be entertained.
