Name of the Project: ‘Mechanistic understanding of dynamic regulations of SEC functions during genotoxic stress-dependent global transcriptional inhibition and subsequent recovery for efficient DNA repair and cell survival.’ (GAP-0464).

Project Tenure: Upto 03 Years.
Qualification Required: M.Sc in any field of Biological Sciences with or without NET/NET(LS)/GATE/Equivalent.
Desirable: The candidate should have some experience working in a laboratory setting.
Age Limit: 35 Years.
Stipend:
- Rs. 31,000/- plus HRA per month (with NET/NET(LS)/GATE/Equivalent)
- Rs. 25,000/- plus HRA per month (without NET/NET(LS)/GATE/Equivalent)
Terms & Conditions:
- The engagement is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project; therefore, it does not confer any right/claim, implicit or explicit, for regularization or absorption against any IICB/CSIR post.
- The age and qualifications will be reckoned as of the date of the interview.
- The upper age limit is relaxable for SC/ST/OBC/PH and women candidates as per rules.

Application Process:
Interested candidates fulfilling all the above conditions may appear for the walk-in interview to be held on 18.10.2024 from 10.30 a.m. in the CSIR-IICB Jadavpur Campus with a duly filled Application Form in the prescribed format as furnished under the download link and along with the following documents as applicable (original and self-attested copy):
- Matriculation Certificate in support of your date of birth
- All mark-sheets and certificates regarding educational qualification (since Matriculation)
- No Objection Certificate from the employer if employed
- Final Mark Sheet of B.Sc/M.Sc/M.Tech/M.Pharm Examination/Ph.D Certificate
- Documentary proof of NET/NET(LS)/GATE/Equivalent
- One Passport size photograph
- Caste certificate (wherever applicable)
