The Institute for Stem Cell Science & Regenerative Medicine (www.instem.res.in), Bangalore is an autonomous institute under the Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India. iBRIC-inStem’s mandate is to establish collaborative research programs in the field of stem cell biology, regeneration, and repair in development and disease, with an emphasis on translation. To develop strengths in focused areas, research at iBRIC-inStem is driven through collaborative interdisciplinary teams, addressing questions that are beyond the scope of a single laboratory.

Doctoral Degree in Science from a recognized university or equivalent in Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Stem Cell Biology, and Neurobiology/Neuroscience with a strong publication record and research experience in Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, and Neurobiology. Candidates with experience in cloning, proximity labeling/co-immunoprecipitation, CRISPR-Cas9 technology, FACS, culturing primary neural stem cells & neurons, and Immunofluorescence are encouraged to apply. Ability to work independently and in a team is essential. |

Minimum 60% marks in B.Tech, M.Tech, M.Sc in Life Sciences, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Stem Cell Biology, and Neurobiology/Neuroscience. Students with prior experience in cell culture and molecular biology techniques are encouraged to apply. Prior research experience in Biochemistry, Cell & Molecular Biology, and Neurobiology is preferred. |
Tenure: Contractual appointment for one year, renewable based on performance evaluation and requirement of the grant.
