Applications are invited for Project Appointment under the following project. Appointment shall be on contractual basis with consolidated pay, initially up to “March 31, 2025” and extendable up to the due date of the project after performance review.

| Qualifications | – Master’s degree (M.Sc. OR equivalent) in Life Sciences, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, Zoology, Microbiology, or related subjects with at least 60% of marks or 6.50 CGPA from a recognized university. |
| Desirable | – Experience in basic microbiology techniques. – Experience in Molecular Biology techniques including cloning and recombinant protein expression. – Ability to maintain accurate lab records and data analyses, good organisational and prioritisation skills, team player, and willingness to learn. |
Scope of the Project
- The successful candidate will work on developing synthetic biology tools like genetic parts, biosensors, etc., and using these standardized tools for engineering cyanobacterial strains for the production of platform chemicals.
- The selected candidate will be provided accommodation in the IBAB hostel.
