The Field Service Trainee for Cytiva is part of the India Equipment services organization located in Pune/Kolkata/Ahmedabad and will be a remote customer-facing role. At Cytiva, our vision is to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Accompany service engineers and assist them in pre-installation work, equipment demos, and other service activities, which will involve travel within the city and outside.
• Ensure the delivery of operations, including installing, troubleshooting, and planned maintenance of the various range of Single-use and Chromatography Equipment sold by CYTIVA Life Science to customers in the Biopharmaceutical Industries.
• Attend independently or with a trained engineer and close the service calls as per CYTIVA Service Quality.
• Support the team in service documentation work and be an active contributor.

The essential requirements of the job include:

• Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology, Instrumentation, Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics, or Electrical & Telecommunications Engineering.
• Ability to learn quickly and demonstrate independent working traits.
• Ability to interface and work well with both internal team members and external customers.
• Knowledge of the basic tools used for service and repairs.
• Fluency in the English language.
• Ability to learn the processes in CYTIVA Life Sciences for reporting, escalations, and travel.
• Be a team player.
