Applications are invited for the post of Research Associate-1 (RA) in a project sponsored by Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF), SERB-CRG entitled “Deciphering the role of novel class of hepcidin regulating biologics in restoration of autophagy flux and microglia/macrophage activation following JE viral infection”.
- Emoluments (monthly): Rs. 58,000 (+ 16% HRA)
- Number of positions: One (1)
- Upper Age Limit: 35 Years as on the closing date of the advertisement
Qualification & Experience:
- Candidate should have a PhD degree in any field of Biological Sciences with at least 1 research publication in a Science Citation Indexed (SCI) Journal.
- The role involves conducting experiments related to antibody isolation and characterization, as well as viral assays and host factor analysis using techniques like flow cytometry and ELISA.
- Preference will be given to applicants with experience in characterizing the antibody response, phage biology, cloning and bacterial transformations, antibody isolation, and characterization.
General Conditions:
- This post is entirely temporary, and the initial appointment is for one year, which may be extended subject to the satisfactory performance of the candidate till the duration of the project.
- The post can be terminated with one month’s notice from either side.
