JOB PURPOSE (Briefly describe the objectives of the job):
To perform and assist in the analytical team in the Biologics division, executing routine HPLC-related analysis, Method Development, Method Qualification, Method Transfer, biophysical characterization activities, and manufacturing process development support services as required.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct HPLC-related experiments according to established protocols and procedures.
- Optimize and troubleshoot techniques to ensure reliable and reproducible results.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and execute experiments to support project goals.
- Analyze and interpret experimental data, and prepare comprehensive reports and presentations.
- Maintain accurate records of experiments, protocols, and results in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Stay current with advancements in plate-based technologies and techniques, and recommend implementing new methodologies as appropriate.
- Train and mentor junior staff members in relevant techniques and laboratory practices.
- Participate in lab meetings, discussions, and presentations to contribute expertise and insights.
- Develop, qualify, and if required, transfer analytical methods.
- Attention to detail and effective communication and documentation skills is desired.
- Adherence to the Safety and Compliance policies of the Lab and organization.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION:
- Master’s in Life Sciences/Engineering or relevant field.
WORK EXPERIENCE:
- 2 to 3 years of industrial experience in analytical method (bioassay) development for proteins.
TECHNICAL / FUNCTIONAL SKILLS:
- Comprehensive theoretical knowledge and hands-on experience with various biophysical characterization studies and HPLC-related studies.
- Analyze and interpret experimental data, and prepare comprehensive reports and presentations.
- Experience in general analytical biochemistry (SDS PAGE, Western Blot, Protein quantification, etc.).
BEHAVIORAL / MANAGERIAL SKILLS:
- Strong orientation to meet timelines and readiness to go the extra mile to meet deadlines.
- Demonstrated ability to work with different functions.
- Demonstrated competency in taking responsibility for provided roles/functions.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
