Applications are invited for Project Appointment under the following project. Appointment shall be on a contractual basis with consolidated pay, renewable yearly or up to the duration of the project, whichever is earlier.

- Consolidated fellowship / Pay-slab: INR 50,000/month
Qualifications:
- Ph.D. in Life Sciences/ Biochemistry/ Molecular Biology/ Biotechnology/ Zoology/ Genetics or related subjects with at least 60% marks or 6.50 CGPA from a recognized university.
- Research experience in the area of Molecular Biology/Cell Biology/Virology.
Desirable:
- Experience of working in a cell culture facility, excellent hands-on skills in culturing and maintenance of cell lines, transfection procedures, cell-based assays, and FACS analysis.
- Experience in Molecular Biology techniques including cloning and recombinant protein expression.
- Ability to maintain accurate lab records and data analyses, good organizational and prioritization skills, team player, and willingness to learn.
Scope of the Project: The successful candidate will work on CRISPR-based functional analyses of arbovirus host factors in human and mosquito cell lines using molecular biology and cell biology approaches. The selected candidate will be provided accommodation in the IBAB hostel, based on availability.
