Job Description:
Purpose of Role:
Responsible for leading the day-to-day production requirements across multiple lines, including safety, quality, coordinating staffing assignments, and safety activities. Provide department leadership to ensure that the team meets or exceeds performance in critical metrics. Drive continuous improvement and optimize efficiency.
Qualification:
- B.Tech, preferably in Mechanical/Electrical/Food Technology or DIFAT.
- 5-7 years of experience in the areas of Packaging Operations, along with Quality Assurance and Quality Systems in the IMFL Industry.
Knowledge & Skills:
- Good experience in overall operations in any IMFL Industry.
- Knowledge about state Excise-related IMFL Industry.
- Excellent coaching, influencing, and communication skills.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
Areas of Responsibilities:
- Ensure efficient production is achieved, and standards are met. The person should be ready to work in shift operations.
- Optimize safety, quality, production, and cost objectives through employee involvement and a team-building approach to root cause problem-solving and continuous improvement.
- Plan and implement key initiatives to improve bottling operations.
- Responsible for training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding, disciplining, and motivating employees; resolving conflict and solving problems.
- Support all safety and food safety audits and ensure that all corrective action items are completed and that all bottling workers understand the goals.
- Ensure production databases are properly maintained.
- Possess strong interpersonal and leadership skills and the ability to communicate at all levels across the plant.
- Ability to coordinate a variety of tasks and prioritize self and others accordingly.
