Biotech Consortium India Limited (BCIL) is a public limited company, set up as an initiative of the Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Government of India by the All India Financial Institutions and corporate sector for facilitating commercialization of biotechnology. BCIL has been providing specialized consultancy in different areas of biotechnology to various Government Departments and private organizations. It has successfully undertaken a number of assignments for Government and other agencies such as preparation of Feasibility Studies/Detailed Project Report for setting up of Biotech Parks/Market Survey for Biotech Products/Technology. BCIL is looking for suitable candidates having the desired profile as mentioned below:
Position level: Project Executive (Consultancy)
No. of Position: One (1)
Nature of Job/Position: This position is purely on a contractual basis, initially for a period of one year, with a scope of further extension depending on the performance.
Location: New Delhi
Qualification:
- Essential: M.Sc / M.Tech. in Life Sciences from a reputed Institute/University.
- Desirable: MBA with the above would be an added qualification.
Desirable Skills:
- Strong analytical and research skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities in drafting project reports.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of the biotechnology sector, including current trends, regulatory frameworks, and market dynamics.
- Ability to interact effectively with government officials, researchers, faculty, industry partners, and stakeholders.
- Sound knowledge of MS Office, particularly MS Excel and PowerPoint.
Experience:
- Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience in project management, preferably in the life sciences or biotechnology sector.
- Preference would be given to candidates who have conducted technical and financial feasibility studies.
Consolidated Emolument: Between Rs. 4.80 lakhs to Rs. 6.00 lakhs per annum depending on the qualification and relevant experience.
Age Limit: Maximum 35 years as of the last date of receipt of application.
Job Description:
- Preparation of Detailed Project Reports (DPRs) for setting up biotech parks, including feasibility studies, market analysis, risk assessment, financial projections, and regulatory compliance.
- Coordination with various stakeholders, including government agencies, private organizations, research institutions, universities, and other relevant stakeholders to gather data and insights for the DPRs.
- Preparation of conceptual designing of biotech facilities.
- Sound knowledge of biotech instrumentation.
- Analysis of the data and trends in the biotechnology sector and compiling it into analytical documents/reports.
- Providing regular updates and presentations to senior management and stakeholders.
