Core Purpose of the Role:
PR Coordination, Inventory management, Lab Maintenance, Day-to-Day operations, Safety and Compliance, Quality, and Data Integrity of Discovery Biology.
Role Accountabilities:
Work in alignment with organization goals and strategic initiatives:
- Lab maintenance

Skills and competencies:
- CAPEX installation activity in coordination with cross-functional team and vendor
- Casual management
- Defrosting the -20 and -80 instruments as per the schedule
- Following Syngene Lab Safety rules and regulations
- Liquid nitrogen, dry ice, and wet ice management for various experiments/teams
- Logbook maintenance
- Media/buffer/acid preparation as per guidelines
- Monitor day-to-day lab operational requirements
- Monitoring and recording lab cold room temperature
- Storage of the inventory materials at stores at ambient temperature
- Support LN2 facility in terms of overall maintenance, cell line inventory upkeep, etc.
- Support QMS activity

Education: M.Sc. (Life Science/Biotechnology)
Experience: 2-4 years of relevant experience
Behavioural / Managerial skills:
- Demonstrated capabilities in managing a team and working in a matrix environment. Ability to rationally discuss data, make data-driven decisions, and influence decisions to select optimal molecules for development. Ability to work in collaboration with a large inter-disciplinary team and assimilate data from various aspects. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Experience in multiple complex projects simultaneously requiring frequent communication, organizing/time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, collaboration, analytical, and management skills.
- Ability to work with senior management with professionalism and discretion.
