Name of the post: Junior Research Fellow (Project)

Essential Qualification:

Master’s degree in Natural Sciences or Agricultural Sciences / MVSc or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology or Medicine from a recognized University or equivalent with a minimum of 60% marks.

Desirable Qualification:

Experience in mouse behavior analysis, whole-cell patch clamp recordings, next-generation sequencing data analysis, or quantitative image analysis. Expertise in at least one of these techniques is absolutely necessary, considering the approved objectives of the project.

Fellowship:

• ₹ 31,000/- + 16% HRA per month for those who have qualified for any of the national-level examinations conducted by central government departments and their agencies and institutions (CSIR-UGC-NET, GATE, JGEEBILS, DBT/ICMR-JRF or similar).
• ₹ 25,000/- + 16% HRA per month for those who do not fall under (i) above.
  No other allowances are applicable.

Age Limit: Maximum 35 years (as of the last date of receipt of the application).

Project Investigator: Prof. Sourav Banerjee, Scientist VI, NBRC

Tenure: The tenure will be for one year and renewable for two more years upon successful review of performance. The post is co-terminus with the project.

Instructions for Filling the Form:
