Job Description:
Role: Lab Technical Coordinator
Level: B4
Location: Hyderabad
Job Responsibilities:
- Preparing the Sampling procedures & Inbound Inspection plans for all raw materials, packing materials, Finished products, and development materials.
- Developing and Deploying the methods in-house in line with the Mars Global Service-Labs strategy.
- Responsible for implementing Laboratory Quality Standard and Laboratory safety
- Guidelines across in-house labs and drive to full compliance.
- Prepare & implement the LQS audit program and conduct the relevant technical audits for Mars internal and external labs.
- Should be expertise in Equipment troubleshooting, Equipment installation, and related validations.
- He should monitor and verify the analysis results of both raw materials and finished products before getting released.
- Support the MRA process by providing analysis data and support for MQM stage gates clearance through intime external lab testing.
- He should conduct the On-Job induction training to associates and should do the mentoring/Coaching for the new associates.
- He should be the SPOC for all external labs and related services including samples management, technical queries, and invoice clearances.
- He should be the SPOC for Regional lab and MGS CoE requirements implementation across labs.
- He should identify and monitor the laboratory requirements through global certified vendors and make sure there should not be any impact on the lab operations.
- Identify the local vendors for consumables & other services complying with the Mars specifications and requirements.
- He should handle the Laboratory Budget within the agreed operating plan and also he should monitor & manage the R&D, Institutional sales and ISC Market related external Testing spends.
- Support new product development through MPENS parameters analysis and Shelf life studies through coordinating with external laboratories.
- Coordinate and monitor Hold-Release process for materials and Finished products and support in investigations for non-compliant products and related root cause analysis.
- Handle technical queries and should have sufficient technical understanding of the method to be able to conduct a robust investigation into any query, identify and verify.
- Competent in the technical field to confirm the technical quality of data and have the ability to sense-check data using experience, literature values, specifications, uncertainties.
- Conduct ongoing assessments through external proficiency testing samples, parallel testing (with another analyst) of internal samples, testing spiked samples, daily quality control results.
- Identify training requirements for the analysts considering the technical aspects of the method, bench practices, quality assurance processes, and escalation procedures.
- Conduct management review meetings & Customer satisfaction survey in accordance with a predetermined schedule and documented process.
- Prepare in-house and external labs service levels reports & trend analysis on a periodic basis and update lab metric report on a quarterly basis.

Associate shall deliver through Respective Area/Process Standard Operating Procedures. Meet basic competency requirements mentioned in the job Role Skill Matrix to ensure Quality and Food Safety requirements are implemented to a satisfactory level.”
Lab Technical Coordinator shall include Laboratory (Both Analytical and Micro), Close coordination with Lab & Hygiene Manager, R&D Manager, Operations Manager, PD In charge, PPI, SQA, Commercial, and other R&D Associates. Shall be responsible to follow approved test methods, Technical reviews, lab equipment’s Maintenance, Budgets, Maintain accurate records, and timely internal/external communication, close coordination with External laboratories, key Suppliers and Operations Team, and maintenance of Laboratory assets.

Educational & Professional Qualification
MSc –Chemistry with first class (or) MSc- in any Life Sciences, with Chemistry as one of the subjects in B Sc. with first class.
Knowledge/Experience
- Minimum 5-6 years working experience in analytical or microbiological laboratory.
- Working experience with Food/Pharma Company is preferable.
