Role reports to:

Location: Mumbai

What you will do

The Officer-R&D Q&C is responsible for the review of GxP documents, identifying significant trends, and providing technical assistance. You will also assist in writing standard operating procedures, generate statistical summaries, and provide backup support during Health Authority inspections and corporate audits while complying with company policies, procedures, and quality standards, as well as safety and environmental regulations:

Key Responsibilities

• Review of GxP documents which includes but is not limited to laboratory non-conformances, change controls, CAPA reports, Micro Lab Investigations, test methods, SOPs, TMS protocol and reports, instrument qualification reports, stability protocols and reports (Microbiology part).
• Reviewing the Laboratory practices, conducting root cause analysis after identifying the areas of obstruction/quality failures and advising on system and process changes for qualitative improvement.
• Assist in the development and implementation of quality procedures to ensure consistency and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Establish and maintain quality assurance programs, procedures, and controls.
• Analyze data and provide insights to improve quality and efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and quality standards, as well as safety and environmental regulations.
• Support in inspection and audit readiness of R&D Operations Center Mumbai to ensure successful outcomes of Health Authority inspections and corporate audits.

Qualifications

What we are looking for

Required Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Microbiology or equivalent
• Minimum 4 years of experience in Quality Assurance/Quality Control or a related field
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database management software
• Knowledge of quality management systems and regulatory requirements

Desired Qualifications

• Experience in Microbiology Lab and hands-on experience with calibration, validation, and qualification of different instruments like Autoclave, BOD, Oven, Balance, TOC, etc.
• Experience in MLT (Microbial Limit Test), Disinfectant qualification, Media/Culture Hold Time study, etc.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Passion for innovation and a desire to stay up to date with industry trends and advancements
• Must have faced regulatory audits like USFDA, EMA, WHO, etc.
