Recruitment for the post of “Technical Officer-I” under an extramural-funded project
Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) Tirupati is a premier autonomous Institution established by the Ministry of Education, Government of India, for the promotion of high-quality science education and research in the country. The institute invites applications from Indian nationals for the following positions purely on a contract basis:
Name of the post: Technical Officer – I
Name of the project: To develop novel antiviral platforms and identify drugs against henipaviruses such as Nipah virus and Hendra virus.

Minimum Qualification & Experience:
Essential:
• PG degree in Life Sciences with two years of post-qualification R&D experience in biological sciences.
OR
• PG Professional degree in Life Sciences with one year of post-qualification R&D experience in biological sciences.
Desirable:
Experience in in-vitro assays, mammalian cell culture, animal models, molecular biology, and protein purification.
Monthly emoluments: INR 50,000/- (Consolidated)
Age: Not more than 30 years on the closing date of the advertisement.

Tenure: The initial offer will be for
one year and renewable subject to satisfactory performance. The position is temporary and co-terminus with the project.Last date: 02nd September 2024 by 5.00 PM
