RECRUITMENT OF ONE JUNIOR RESEARCH FELLOW (RF) POSITION THROUGH WALK-IN INTERVIEW TO BE HELD ON 26/08/2024
Applications are invited by the undersigned from the eligible candidates to attend for a walk-in-interview for one post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) to be recruited in the following research project through a walk-in interview.
Title of the Project: Development and Evaluation of Eri silkworm breeds/hybrids with improved productivity

Duration of the Project: Sep 2024 – Feb 2025 (Co-terminus with the project)
Funding Source: CSB funded
Age Limit: 35 years as on 26.08.2024 (relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST & women candidates)
Essential Qualification: M.Sc. in Sericulture, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, and Life Sciences with minimum 60% marks (relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST & women candidates)
Emoluments: JRF Rs. 21000/- + applicable HRA
Application Process
Eligible candidates may appear for the interview at the time and venue given below. At the time of interview, a passport size photograph, one photocopy each of certificates
and mark sheets for educational qualifications from SSLC, PUC/HSC, B.Sc, M.Sc, date of birth, NOC from present employer if any, research experience, research publications, and caste certificate for SC/ST candidates, along with valid e-mail ID and telephone/mobile numbers.Note:
Eligible candidates with provisional/Degree certificate and mark sheets of all semesters including the final semester of M.Sc. or consolidated mark sheets for all semesters only will be eligible to attend the interview. Originals of all the supportive documents mentioned above should be presented for verification at the time of the interview.
Important Points:
- Walk-in-Interview starts at 9:30 AM on 26.08.2024.
- Eligible candidates may appear for the interview at the following venue: Seri-Biotech Research Laboratory, Carmelaram post, Kodathi, Bangalore-560035 (Landmark: Near Harvest International School approximately 2.5 KM from Kodathi gate bus stop on Sarjapur Road).
- Applications will NOT be accepted by post/e-mail courier.
- Age limit: 35 years as on 26/08/2024 (relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST and women candidates).
- No TA/DA will be provided to attend the interview.
- The above-mentioned positions are purely temporary, on a contractual basis, and are co-terminus with the project. Further claims for any post will not be entertained thereafter.
- Canvassing in any form will lead to the cancellation of candidature.
- The decision of the Director shall be final and binding in all respects.
