Essential Qualification: M.Sc. in Botany / Plant Biology & Plant Biotechnology / Marine Biology / Marine Science / Microbiology / Oceanography / Biotechnology
Monthly Remuneration: Rs. 25,000/- + HRA
Age Limit: 35 years (Relaxation in age as per CSIR norms)

Applications from those who are working as a Project Associate / Project Assistant / Field Assistant / Research Scholar or in any other mode in CSIR institutions / Universities / other government organizations need to submit a No Objection Certificate from their present Project Leader or competent authority on the letterhead with seal. Candidates applying without knowledge of their Project Leader or Competent Authority will be wholly responsible for any inquiry, and CSIR – CSMCRI and MARS, Mandapam will not be
responsible. The application should be sent to Dr. V. Veeragurunathan, Scientist-in-charge, CSMCRI – Marine Algal Research Station, Mandapam Camp – 623519, Ramanathapuram District, Tamil Nadu, on or before 27.08.2024. The selected candidates for the interview will be notified by mail on 27.08.2024. The interview will be held at CSIR – CSMCRI – Marine Algal Research Station, Mandapam Camp – 623 519, Ramanathapuram District, on 28.08.2024. No TA/DA will be provided for appearing at the interview.This post is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project. The engagement of project staff in different projects either in the CSIR – Central Salt & Marine Chemicals Research Institute, Bhavnagar or different labs/Institutes of CSIR, taken together, shall not exceed 5 years in any case. It would, therefore, not confer any right/claim implicit or explicit for any candidate to claim extension or absorption in CSIR – CSMCRI, Bhavnagar.
