Name of the Position: Research Associate-I (One position only)

Duration: 06 Months

Name of the Project: “INCENTIVE: Indo-European Consortium for Next Generation Influenza Vaccine Innovation” funded by DBT

Educational Qualifications: Candidate should have a PhD degree in any field of Biological Sciences with at least 1 research publication in a standard refereed journal as listed in Journal Citations Reports (JCR).

Desirable

Candidate should preferably have experience working under BSL3 virology laboratory. Experience in molecular biology, multi-parameter (at least 7 parameters) flow cytometry is preferred. Candidates with experience in Influenza biology and viral assays are encouraged to apply. Qualifications can be relaxed at the discretion of the project investigators based on expertise in any of the above-listed techniques and suitability of the candidate for the project.

Job Description

Research Associate will carry out experiments related to the work element of the project such as Immunogenicity and efficacy studies of flu vaccine candidates in NHP-ABSL3 facility and perform viral assays (HAI, MN, ELLA, etc.) and host factors by techniques such as multicolor flow cytometry, ELISA, etc.

Emoluments: Rs. 47,000/- per
