The company specializes in manufacturing hypodermic syringes, hypodermic needles, and IV sets, employing around 350 staff members dedicated to producing high-quality products used in hospitals, private practices, and emergency services. Oyster Medisafe is recognized for its CE-certified syringes, IV sets, and hypodermic needles, ensuring safety for both patients and healthcare providers.
Educational Qualification and Experience:
- Graduation in Microbiology or Biotechnology.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a Microbiology lab.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for Microbiological activities in the plant, including testing of all applicable products and environmental monitoring of clean rooms/classified rooms.
- Handle microbiological sample receiving, labeling, preparation, sampling, test counting, checking, and recording of data analysis on finished products, stability test samples, and other test requisitions as directed by the superior.
- Support continuous compliance with all required microbiological standards, including ISO, CE, and India FDA regulations.
- Maintain good housekeeping, safety, and correct usage of Micro lab equipment.
- Ensure proper maintenance of microbiological testing materials, culture stock, and records.
- Assist the superior in achieving objectives and targets outlined by the Head of Department.
- Liaise with external laboratories for microbiology-related tests.
- Adhere to B. Braun’s code of conduct and compliance procedures.
- Ensure timely microbiological testing and product release as per specifications.
- Conduct bioburden sterility and bacterial endotoxin tests for products as per specifications.
- Perform clean room monitoring as per applicable ISO requirements.
- Monitor GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) of the entire plant with respect to hygiene.
- Maintain quality records, stock control samples, and records.
- Coordinate the purchase of media, reagents, and other consumables, ensuring availability in inventory.
- Support superior in preparing test methods, specifications, procedures, and equipment operating instructions.
- Participate in process and test methods, specifications, procedures, and equipment operating instructions.
- Ensure timely submission and release of test results and reports.
- Work under general supervision, relying on knowledge and moderate experience to accomplish assigned goals and report on results and accomplishments.
Key Competencies:
- Basic knowledge of microbiology and mastery of skills in microbiology testing.
- Applying procedures, techniques, tools, and materials to execute tasks and responsibilities.
