RECRUITMENT NOTIFICATION

SRM Institute of Science and Technology with support from Department of Biotechnology, Govt. of India has established a state-of-the-art National facility named “SRM-DBT Platform for Advanced Life Sciences Technologies”. SRM-DBT Partnership Platform is inviting applications for the following positions:

Junior Scientific Officer – One Position (01)

1. Job Description: Perform the experiments for internal and external customers and work under the guidance of Senior Scientific Officer, NABL routine activity, creating and maintaining the NABL documents.
2. Essential Qualification: M. Sc. / M. Tech. in Life Sciences with first class or equivalent grade and consistent academic record with 0-2 years of research experience in advanced molecular biology techniques.
3. Desirable qualification: Knowledge and experience in molecular biology techniques, Realtime PCR.
4. Salary: 25,000/- per month (Consolidated).

Senior Scientific Officer – One Position (01)

1. Job Description: Perform molecular biology, genomics and proteomics experiments for internal and external customers. Supervision of Junior Scientific Officer. Taking theory and practical classes for PG Diploma students. Conducting regular workshops. NABL routine activity, creating and maintaining NABL documents.
2. Essential Qualification: M.Sc. / M. Tech. in any Life Sciences stream with a minimum of work experience of 3-5 years in Molecular Biology/ Genomics/ Proteomics techniques.
3. Desirable qualification: Experience of working in a NABL accredited laboratory (ISO/IEC 17025). Experience of working in GMO testing laboratories.
4. Salary: 50,000 per month (Consolidated).
