Interview for Project – JRF position
Title of Project: Investigating the role of platelet factor 4 and CXCR3 in dengue infection in mice with/without diabetes.
Funder: Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Ministry of Science and Technology, Govt. of India.
Duration: Initially for 1 year, extendable till duration of the project.
Essential Qualifications: M.Sc. in Life Sciences or related natural science disciplines from recognized Universities or equivalent, with at least 60% marks, and
a. Scholars who are selected through National Eligibility Tests – CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) and GATE.
b. The selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MoE, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER, NISER etc. As per DST OM No. DST/PCPM/Z/2022, dated 26th June 2023
Desirable Qualifications: Experience of working with 1) dengue or any BSL2 level virus, 2) Trained in mice handling and performing experiments such as injecting drugs, collecting blood samples and organs after sacrificing the mice, etc. 3) Techniques such as flow cytometry microscopy, western blot and PCR analysis. A certificate of related experience

Emoluments: Rs. 37,000/- + 27% HRA per month.
