One postdoctoral position in the Department of Chemical Sciences, IISER Kolkata
Eligibility: The applicant must have obtained a PhD degree from a recognized University/Institute in India or abroad.
Essential: PhD in Biochemistry/Life Science in the area of cancer biology.
Desirable: Expertise (supported by publication track records) in: in vivo experiments with animal models of cancer; primary and secondary animal cell culture techniques; molecular biology protocols including DNA/RNA isolation techniques, PCR, Western blot, immunohistochemical staining techniques, etc.; microscopic studies of animal cells.
Age limit: The upper age limit is 35 years on the date of advertisement. Age relaxation will be given to candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/Physically Challenged & Women candidates as per GOI rules.
The fellowship will be offered for one year. Extendable only for the duration of the project subject to satisfactory performance.
Fellowship: Consolidated ₹58,280 per month
Selection Mode: The selection will be based on the recommendations of the Selection Committee and the approval of the Competent Authority.
