ICMR Headquarters intends to fill up following Non-institutional position purely on temporary contract basis for its short-term projects

Eligible candidates may submit the application form (copy attached) documents and CV online in the given mail id [email protected] at on or before 12th August, 2024 upto 17:00 hours. Late/Delayed/Incomplete applications shall not be entertained and rejected straight away, without any reasons, communication and correspondence. Candidates are therefore advised to submit their application well in time along with the application form, CV and self-attested documents.

Candidature of successful candidates shall be subject to verification of all original documents by ICMR and fulfillment of required eligibility criteria, in all respects of qualification, age and experience, etc. Successful candidates will be informed through email about interview.

Terms and conditions:-

1. These positions are meant for temporary projects, for appointment purely on temporary contract basis.
2. Age relaxation will be admissible in respect of SC/ST/OBC candidates, retrenched Government Employees, Departmental Candidates (including projects) and Ex-servicemen etc. in accordance with the instructions issued by the Central Government/DoPT/ICMR from time to time. Age concession to the extent of service rendered in other research projects will also be admissible for experienced and skilled persons. SC/ST/OBC will be given age relaxation in respect of the posts reserved for them only and not for UR posts.
3. Cut-off date for age limit will be as on the last date for submission of applications.
4. OBC category candidates must produce their latest Caste Validity Certificate. They must possess a latest non-creamy layer certificate, issued within three years. PWD candidates shall produce latest disability certificate issued by a Medical board of Government hospital with not less than 40% disability.
5. Engagement of successful candidates on the project shall also be decided by the appointing authority at its discretion.
6. Qualification & experience should be in relevant discipline/field/trade and from an accredited/ reputed Institution. Experience should have been gained after acquiring the minimum essential qualification.
7. No TA/DA shall be paid, and candidates shall have to arrange for their transport/accommodation themselves.
8. ICMR reserves rights to consider or reject any application/candidature, without assigning any reason.
9. The candidate shall not have any claim on a regular post in ICMR or in any of its Institutes/Centers and their project term will not confer any right for further assignment or transfer to any other project or appointment/absorption in the funding agency or in ICMR. Benefits of Provident Fund, Pension Scheme, Leave Travel Concession, Medical claim, Staff Quarters and other facilities, applicable to the regular staff of ICMR etc. are not admissible to the project manpower.
10. ICMR reserves the right to terminate the services of selected candidate, even during the agreed contract period or extended contract, without assigning any reason.
11. While called for test/interview or both, the candidate must submit a CV with a recent passport size color photograph and all relevant documents; duly self attested; in proof of his/her educational qualifications [all certificates and mark-sheets from 10th Std. onwards], working experience, age, caste (OBC Certificate) etc., failing which his/her candidature will not be considered.
12. ICMR reserves the right to cancel/modify the recruitment process, at any time, during the process, at its discretion.
