NOTIFICATION

NIMHANS is conducting a Walk-in cum written test for filling up the post of Junior Research Fellow on a contract basis for the project titled “Network center for research on glioblastoma stem cell-targeted T-CELL immunotherapy using non-genetically engineered mesenchymal stromal cells” funded by DBT, under Dr. Nanda Kumar D N, Professor of Neurochemistry and Principal Investigator, NIMHANS Bengaluru.

No. of Post: Two (02)

Essential Qualification

i) M.Sc. Biotechnology / M.Sc. Biochemistry / M.Sc. Medical Biochemistry / M.Sc. Neurochemistry
ii) Qualified national level examination conducted by DBT – BET/NET/GATE/CSIR/ UGC/ ICMR/DBT/MHRD or equivalent.

Desirable Experience: Experience in cancer biology and mammalian cell culture

Maximum Age Limit: 28 years

Emoluments: Rs. 31,000/- + 24% HRA per month.

Duration of the Project: Initial appointment will be made for a period of one year, which will be extended depending upon the performance of the candidate.
