Applications are invited from suitable candidates for filling up the following position at National Institute of Animal Biotechnology (NIAB), Hyderabad.
Project Title: DBT funded project entitled “Validation of DBT-NIAB SNP chip for breed identification and preliminary genome-wide association studies of milk yield”. PI: Dr. Sandeep Kushwaha.

Essential qualifications: Masters degree in Life science, or Agricultural Sciences/MVSc or Bachelor
s degree in Engineering or Technology or Medicine from a recognised university or equivalent.
Desirable Experience: Candidates having extensive experience in scripting (shell, R, Python) and NGS bioinformatics, especially GWAS and epigenetic data processing and analysis will be given preference.
Fellowship amount: 31,000/- + 24% HRA (if applicable) candidates NET or GATE or undergone a selection process through national level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and
their Agencies and Institutions and 25,000/- + HRA (if applicable) for others who do not have NET or GATE as per the DST guidelines.
Age: 35 years (Relaxation is admissible in case of SC/ST/OBC candidates as per Government instructions).

Interim enquiries will not be entertained.
