Advertisement for the Position of SRF

Applications are invited for the position of senior research fellow (SRF) on a contract basis to work in a time-bound ICMR-sponsored research project (Adhoc/68/2022-ITR) sanctioned to the undersigned at the Department of Epidemiology and Public Health, Central University of Tamil Nadu.

Details of the position:

Project Title: Development and evaluation of an isothermal assay for scrub typhus

Position: SRF – 1 post

Monthly Fellowship: Rs. 42000+9% HRA

Tenure of Position: 1 year, extendable annually till the completion of the project period, subject to satisfactory performance.

Essential Qualification: Masters in Microbiology/Biotechnology/Molecular Biology and other relevant disciplines with two years’ experience. Qualified candidates of GATE/NET and other national-level examinations are desirable.

In addition to MSc degree with relevant disciplines,2 years experience Qualification of NET / GATE and other national level examinations like Inspire, IISER, IIT, IISc, DBT BET, DAE, JIGBELLS, TIFR, etc are essential

Desirable: Prior experience in Diagnostics, Molecular cloning, Real-time PCR, Isothermal assays

Age limit: 35 years. (Age relaxation for reserved categories as per Gov. of India rules
