Applications are invited for an Online interview for the following post in the project titled “Engineering CRISPR-based antimicrobials for selective targeting of drug resistant bacteria” at the department of Biosciences and Bioengineering, IIT Guwahati.

SRF (Direct)/ 01	48720	10	BE/B.Tech or ME/M.Tech or MSc in life sciences or biotechnology with at least two years of research experience in Molecular/RNA biology. Qualified in NET/GATE (or) equivalent national eligibility test (or) elected through national level examinations conducted by central government departments and their agencies and Institutions such as IITs, IISER, IISc, DBT, DST, etc. Candidate should have sound experience in cloning, protein expression purification, and standard molecular biology techniques. Experience in bioinformatics, macromolecular crystallography, and Cryo-EM will be advantageous.

Shortlisted candidates will be called through email for the online interview with interview link. Selection will be done based on the performance of the candidate in the interview and research experience. The appointment shall be awarded initially for ten months, which shall be extended based on the performance. Candidates will not be sent any call letters separately.
