NOTIFICATION

NIMHANS is conducting walk-in-interview for the following posts on Contract Basis for an ICMR funded project entitled “Development of Hand-Held Immunosensor Device using Bioinspired Graphene Based Nanocomposites for the Detection of PARKINSON’S DISEASE BIOMARKERS”, under Dr. Phalguni Anand Alladi, Senior Scientific Officer-Scientist F, Department of DNPT & PI, NIMHANS, Bengaluru – 560029.

Name of the Post: Project Research Scientist-I (Non-Medical)

No. of Posts: 01 (One)

Essential Qualification:

• M.Sc in Neurosciences/Pharmacology/Life Sciences or other equivalent PG degree from a recognized university, with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent grade.
• Scholars who have cleared National Eligibility Tests ICMR/DBT/CSIR-UGC-NET/DST-INSPIRE etc.

Desired Qualification:

• Research experience of two years, with demonstrable experience in ELISA, Immunohistochemistry, Cell culture/Cell line handling, and Western blotting techniques.
• Experience in mice/rodent handling and experimentation.

Salary: Rs. 56,000/- per month + HRA (HRA will be admissible only if the candidate does not avail hostel accommodation at NIMHANS).

Maximum Age Limit: 30 (Thirty) years

Duration of the Project: 4 Years. Initial appointment will be made for a period of 06 months, which will be extended every 06 months until the end of the project, depending on the candidate’s performance.

Nature of Work: The candidate will be involved in designing and conducting experiments and data analysis related to the project and any other technical and administrative work assigned by the project investigators.
